Comprehensive Performance SystemsManagement "Best Practices" ForumWelcome to the "Best Practices" Forum brought to you by CPS. This is a new section of the CPS web site that provides a forum for managers, support staff, consultants, and others to compare experiences and develop "best practices" in a wide range of management topics. The format consists of a question-and-answer process resulting in various "white papers" that evolve as new contributions are received. To contribute, send us an email. Your contribution might describe efforts and results your company has experienced, or you might want to suggest additional questions or topics. We want the resulting white papers to be coherent discussions rather than simply strings of loosely-connected comments, so we reserve the right to include your contributions at our sole discretion. We will endeavor to add and edit content in pursuit of this goal. We will review your submission only if you include complete contact information (your name, position or title, company name, address, and telephone number). We do this in order to verify that only valid submissions are incorporated into our discussions. We will not share your contact information with anyone else and will not identify your company in any postings without your explicit permission. Please tell us how we might best characterize your company in any posting in this forum (i.e., by number of employees, revenue level, industry, general location, etc.) And if you have any other questions about our approach or editorial policies, please contact us directly (by e-mail or at 317-733-0255). Please note: In some of the pages in this section, hyperlinks will take you to other pages within our website (outside the "Best Practices" Forum). To return to the page you were reading, use your browser's "Back" button. To return to this page, click on the "Best Practices" Forum link in the menu to the left. Other links will take you to a section at the bottom of the page you are reading. These "detours" provide additional information on the current topic. At the end of each such detour is a "return" link. Click on this link to resume reading the topic where you left off. Current Topics: How Can We Overcome Obstacles to Learning? [Rev. 12/7/05]
